EcoClean™ AM is a blend of 8 facultative aerobic bacterial species, making the product effective across a range of substrates and environmental conditions.

EcoClean™ AM contains bacteria that specifically target organic and non-living substrates. When applied in aerobic conditions, it effectively reduces B.O.D, C.O.D, and odors generated by anaerobic bacteria. By improving the efficiency of pollution reduction processes, EcoClean™ AM significantly decreases the need for dredging and chemicals in treatment processes.

For aquaculture environments: 

  • In shrimp farming, only about 30% of the protein in feed is absorbed, with the remainder accumulating at the bottom of the pond, leading to significant pollution. The protein conversion process involves multiple microbial groups, but the formation of toxic NH₃ occurs faster than the conversion of NH₃ into non-toxic substances, resulting in increased NH₃ and NO₂ levels.

Usage instructions for EcoClean™ AM:

Dosage:

a. Routine treatment, bottom treatment:

100 g per 1,000 m³, apply every 5 days.

b. Emergency Treatment for Toxic Gas Outbreaks:

100 g per 1,000 m³, apply every 2-3 days depending on the level of toxic gas.

Application method:

  • Mix 100-200 g with 20 liters of water, add 2 kg of molasses, and aerate continuously for 2 hours. Then, evenly spread the mixture across the pond surface.
  • Use on sunny days when the pond has the highest oxygen levels.
  • Run aerators before and after application.

Advantages of EcoClean™ AM:

  • Rapidly converts toxic gases, especially NH₃, in just 2 to 3 applications, eliminating the need for Yucca and Zeolite.
  • Effectively degrades organic sludge and controls toxic gases, preventing their formation throughout the entire farming cycle.
  • Replace Yucca and Zeolite with EcoClean™ AM for NH₃ control throughout the farming season.
  • Recommendation: Use EcoClean™ AM from the start of the season to control toxic gases.

Toxic gas treatment procedure:

  • Step 1: Replace about 30% of the water, gradually to avoid shocking the shrimp.
  • Step 2: Reduce feed by 30 - 50% to prevent excess feed from sinking and generating more toxic gases.
  • Step 3: Operate aerators continuously to produce oxygen and accelerate nitrification (Nitro Bacter).
  • Step 4: Apply EcoClean™ AM at a dosage of 100 g per 1,000 m³ every 2 days, for a total of 4 applications.
  • Step 5: Continue using EcoClean™ AM until harvest to prevent further toxic gas outbreaks.

Additional tips: Supplement with molasses mixed with water and increase Vitamin C to promote the conversion of NO₂ to NO₃.

Note: Nitrification (NO₂ release) may be slow due to:

  • Insufficient oxygen in the pond for Nitrobacter growth and NO₂ to NO₃ conversion.
  • Lack of molasses during microbial application leading to suboptimal Nitrobacter growth and poor conversion efficiency.
  • Excessive bottom sludge causing high toxic gas accumulation and insufficient daily conversion.
  • Recommendation: Start using EcoClean™ AM early in the farming season to effectively control and decompose bottom sludge and avoid handling toxic gases after they have developed.

Storage and handling:

  • Storage: Keep in a dry, cool place.
  • Handling: Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after use.
