Eco Floc™ is a highly concentrated choice of the most effective probiotics to support the rapid and robust development of flocculent matter. It helps reduce and control the activity of pathogenic bacteria, particularly Vibrio species.
Eco Floc™ is a mixture of microorganisms, invertebrates, algae, bacteria, and organic matter. Each floc particle is bonded together by mucus secreted by bacteria, filamentous microorganisms, or electrostatic attraction. As a result, these floc particles have high nutritional value and can be used as feed for shrimp and fish.
Ingredients:
-
Bacillus subtilis.
-
Bacillus licheniformis.
-
Bacillus pumilus.
-
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens.
-
Bacillus megaterium.
-
Corn starch (carrier).
Mechanism of action:
Each floc particle is bound together in a loose matrix by mucus secreted by bacteria, combined with corn starch, which has a high C:N ratio, optimizing the performance of the biofloc environment.
Benefits:
-
Produces superior floc particles that can assimilate organic waste and convert it into bacterial biomass (rich in protein) in a very short time without the need for light. This accelerates growth rates, biomass, and the feed conversion ratio (FCR) of shrimp and fish (FCR is the ratio between the total amount of feed given to the shrimp and the total weight of shrimp harvested per unit area).
-
Reduces and controls the activity of pathogenic bacteria, particularly Vibrio species.
Packaging:
Eco Floc™ is packaged in 500-gram jar.
Bacterial count:
Eco Floc™ ≥ 10 x 10⁹ CFU/gram.
Applications:
Shrimp and fish ponds; Aquatic bio ponds; Aquaculture ponds; Koi ponds; Ornamental fish tanks; Bio-floc systems; Aquaculture farms.
Application recommendations:
Eco Floc™ can be safely used with all shrimp, fish, crustaceans, and any other aquatic species and plants.
Usage instructions:
-
Timing of application: Apply before introducing shrimp or fish. If used during mid-season, the effectiveness may be reduced, and dosage should be increased accordingly.
-
Method of Application: Add the product directly to the water without any additional supplementation. Aeration is crucial for Biofloc shrimp farming technology; ensure continuous aeration to provide adequate oxygen to the tank to support bacterial activity.
Dosage:
-
Regular use: Every 2 weeks.
-
Dosage: 500 grams per 10,000 liters.
-
For large-scale biofloc projects, please consult with technical experts for specific dosage levels.
Usage conditions:
-
Ensure water temperature is above 7.2°C.
-
Effectiveness may decrease if the temperature is below 7.2°C.
-
Maintain water pH between 5.5 and 9.5 (optimal at 7.5).
-
Add the product directly to the water without any additional supplementation.
-
Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 10°C and 38°C.
Contraindications:
-
Avoid exposure to dust, smoke, mist, vapor, etc.
-
Do not remove used specialized equipment (such as clothing and gloves) from the work area.
-
Wear protective eyewear, gloves, and a lab coat (if available) when handling the product.
-
If contact with skin or eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Prolonged contact may cause skin symptoms in some individuals. If symptoms persist, consult a physician.
-
Seal and store properly.
Shelf-life:
